Description
This sunflower is good for a cover crop to produce biomass. Good for forage during the vegetative state for wild life other wise becomes woody. Deer prefer them while young and still growing. Wildlife like to feed on the sunflower which is very nutritious. It is great for drawing bees and other pollinators.
Establishment
Usually planted in late spring through early summer. Seed depth is 1″.
