Antigo Oats are a high yielding grain oat new from Wisconsin. It is an early maturity oat variety that heads one day later than Badger. Antigo oats average height is 35 -38 inches with an 106 bu/A average. Can be used as a nurse crop for alfalfa when necessary.

Establishment
Seeding rates are 2 to 3 bu per acre. In case of a nurse crop, the rate should be reduced to 30 lbs per acre for grass and 50 lbs per acre for alfalfa. Seed should be placed in a firm seedbed 1/2 to 3/4 inch deep.
